Bridget McArthur
Director/Speech Language Therapist
Bridget established SHOUT in 2003 and has been working as a Speech Language Therapist since 1997. Bridget enjoys working with both adults and children addressing a range of communication issues. Bridget has a particular interest in the relationship between communication, learning and behaviour. Creating programmes based around functional communication skills for socialisation. Bridget also enjoys sharing information with other professionals and how we can work together to provide the best possible communication support.
Lena Andraschko
Paediatric Speech Language Therapist
Lena has been working at SHOUT since March 2013. Lena has a background working within education settings. Lena enjoys working in a range of areas with children and their families to support communication development. Lena is particularly interested in working with pre-school age children with speech or language impairment and supporting children who stutter or those growing up in a bilingual environment.
Hallie Pearson
Paediatric Speech Language Therapist
Hallie is a Speech Language Therapist who joined the team at SHOUT in 2015. Hallie believes that all children have amazing potiential and enjoys working within a family centred model to assist children in developing a broad range of communication skills. Hallie is able to support children with a range of communication difficulties. She is highly experienced working with children on the Autism Spectrum and also enjoys working with children with complex communication needs.
Turid Peters
Consulting Speech Language Therapist
Turid has been working as a Speech Language Therapist since 1997. including 12 years working at Starship Children's Health. Turid currently provides a consultative service to SHOUT Speech Language Therapy LTD. Turid comes to Central Otago with specialised skills working with children who have swallowing difficulties including tracheostomy, tube feeding and behavioural feeding problems. Turid also has an interest working with preschool children with a range of communication issues.
Fiona Couldstone
Consulting Speech Language Therapist
Fiona Couldstone qualified as a speech language therapist in 2001. Fiona has been working with SHOUT since December 2014 and is available to see adults who require support with communication and or swallowing problems. Fiona has worked in both New Zealand and the UK and is committed to providing intervention and support that is functional and incorporates evidence-based research. Fiona's particular interest is adult neurogenic communication disorders and swallowing problems.
